After lying dormant for the past 13 years, the Avebury Nickel Mine – located within a known mining district on Tasmania’s western coast – is restarting and we want you to be a part of what promises to be a successful operation, whilst becoming part of the local community! Mallee Resources has acquired Avebury and, with the backing of major partners, aims to fast-track the Avebury mine out of care & maintenance and back into production in September 2022. The company is headed by highly experienced Managing Director John Lamb and backed by a strong leadership team who are well known, respected and have a strong background in mine production. Mallee Resources is a company with strong environmental, social and governance principles and is committed to making Avebury a sustainable, long term mining operation with a low carbon footprint.
