About
With the support of his family, Ron Lambert established Seattle Services in 1978, initially selling pump-sets and TrailCo travelling irrigators. Responding to the needs of customers, Ron designed a compact, robust yet easy to operate travelling irrigator. This PaceMakerä was eventually released in the early 1980’s and became a favourite with many Tasmanian farmers. In 1983 Seattle Services was awarded the Power Farming Machine of the Year Award for its PaceMaker irrigator.
In recent years, We have been a Reinke Distributor since 2002 and are one of Reinke’s most experienced Australian dealers, including both pivot and linear irrigators. Mine dewatering has also become a major part of Seattle Services business. To support our mining and agricultural customers, Seattle Services has developed strong customer focussed support teams who can provide maintenance and repair services both in the field and in our purpose built workshops at Merseylea. Seattle Services is constantly striving to develop new and innovative solutions and designs to assist its customers. Today, we are leading research into new technologies and have also taken part in a number of projects with both the CSIRO and the Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Research (TIAR).
